Allow a personal account to have more than 3 TB

Same situation here as a photographer. After 10+ years using Dropbox I need more than 4TB I have paying an extra. Now I was told I need to upgrade to a Team/BUsiness acocunt. But I'm not a team. 

I've just cancelled my plan and signed for a service with unlimited storage for individuals, but I would definitely go back to Dropbox when such thing will be available.

I'm leaving Dropbox today after almost 10 years. Awesome service, great customer service, I'd consider it to be an industry standard in the production world. But why on earth do I need to pay for 3 users in order to have a plan that is 5TB and up? $18/month would be awesome, but $54 a month is outrageous when I don't have anyone to share it with. I can't be the only independent musician / audio engineer / video editor out there that needs over 3TB of cloud storage.  Simply put one size fits all never works. There are plenty of other services out there that cater to creative individuals. There's no reason for these iron clad plans other than to take advantage of folks that rely on Dropbox for their business. As I take on more projects, I'm learning, I'm creating. As the capacity for my vision expands, in turn, my data grows. Why can't Dropbox grow right along with me. It's been an invaluable tool for years, but I'm out. If you change things up Dropbox, drop me a line. 

Hey guys any update on this? I've been waiting this feature for 3 years now. That's the only reason preventing me from purchasing Dropbox Pro 5/10TB. I don't wanna buy Business because I'm alone as a freelancer. The new freelance plan sucks too as it only offers 3TB (same as Pro)... what kind of stupid person at Dropbox came up with a Freelance plan that only offers 3TB same as Pro?

Please fix it asap. I need at least 6TB. Ideally 8 or 10 even better.

theweirdsisters which cloud service did you go for? I'm desperate to leave Dropbox too since they only offer 3TB max, which is ridiculous. I need like 6-10TB on a Pro plan. Simple demand, yet never delivered by ThickBox.

Absolutely, I've been asking this for years. Why is Dropbox not delivering on such a simple request? They prefer to not earn money? I mean I haven't renewed my yearly subscriptions for that reason alone, and we're thousands of customers in this situation. Why is Dropbox refusing to take our money? Non-sense.

I need this feature too otherwise i'll have to jump ship to another service that offers more storage. Seems nonsensical for dropbox to not cater to their long-term loyal customers whose business has grown to the point of requiring more storage.  Not everyone needs or wants a multi-user team account!

As a freelance photographer I need a good amount of storage and 3tb just doesn't cut it anymore. I end up needing about 1tb to archive/store per year of shooting. I could use my googledrive but Id rather use dropbox for the user interface etc. I know i could use a multi user account but its totally unfeasible to do so with just myself. 

Id love to see the option to have a 5tb account with the option of adding 1tb a year or something along those lines.
