Two Macs, one account and while changing from one Mac to other, I have now to follow a long lasting procedure. What happened?

first: this is the German forum
second: I´m not sure if I understand your problem: You got a new Mac and want to "transfer" your account to the new one?
Install the dropbox app on the new Mac. Log in with your account details.
Now the Dropbox app syncs your data / downloads your data from the cloud.
If both Macs are in the same network you can accellerate the process by activating the option "LAN-Synchronisation" in the network tab of the stettings of the DB-App.

Hi there indiagaucho; how are you today?
ernstMreicher58 is right, this was originally posted on our German Community and I moved it here on our English boards; I hope you don't mind.
Based on your description, I'm assuming that you downloaded and installed the desktop app on your second computer and now you're seeing it state that it's 'syncing' your content from your computer's menu bar - is this correct?
Have you tried changing your bandwidth settings through the app's preferences to see if this improves matters at all?
Keep us posted please!
