I use it for multiple purposes - including work, education and leisure.
Share databases with my fellow reasearchers; keep published papers and essays for posterior reading.
Also keep all of my pictures and personal stuff like diplomas.
My biggest tip is to always keep in eye on the community and features tab to make sure you're not missing out on any dope feature!
Thanks dropbox team for being so active!!
Take care <3

I use my Dropbox account for a number of purposes.
1. To backup the photos on my mobile phone
2. I integrate with HelloSign to e-sign documents. In fact I integrate with many external apps like Zoom, Slack, PDF software and more.
3. I like having my files accessible (on my phone) wherever I go
4. I back up work related files in a separate folder in Dropbox from OneDrive for Business
5. I use CloudPlayer to sync my music files from Dropbox to my phone
6. Much more!

Hi Casper,
I was very interested in Item 5 from your list. The only Apple product I own is an iPhone X but it has become increasingly difficult to manage a music library on a Windows computer with iTunes for Windows installed. So, while I don't want to switch my phone for an Android phone, I wondered if, what you noted can be done on an iPhone and if so, how?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Altaire
Did not see your message earlier, sorry for the late reply.
I do not use (or like) the Apple ecosystem as it is too restricive (used it is the past, but am more than satisfied with my Samsung Note 10+).
A Google search for "CloudPlayer" points to this: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/cloud-player-for-dropbox/id1272994353 although it is for Apple TV only, and also not from the same developer.
The one I use is from here: https://www.doubletwist.com/cloudplayer and seems to be for Android only. It is just an amazing app. Even have radio stations worldwide ;-)

Hi Amy
Yes! Please! You are more than welcome to do that.
I "converted" my wife to use Dropbox too. That was an amazing achievement as she is not into "cloud" like I am.
Note that I also have a Dropbox Business account, and am a Dropbox Partner. So a "one stop shop" if you like ;-)
Looking forward to talk to you and your team.
Oh and congrats with the 1 Billion downloads on the Google PlayStore. Much deserved.
Regards
Casper

Caspar, I'm wondering how you feel about the safety of CloudPlayer? I thought I would be able to give it permission to only my music folder, but it has permission to access all of my dropbox account. Not sure I'm going to use it without being able to give selective folder permission.
