Someone has sent me a request to access one of my Dropbox files. Is this email legit?
I received the following emal from no-reply@dropbox.com and would like to know if it is ligit? How did this person actually know about this particular pdf?
I thought all files in the Dropbox folder...

Did you share this file with any other user perhaps?
Is it possible they’re trying to join your file with a different Dropbox account?
If not, feel free to send me a screenshot of the email you received (while hiding any personal details).

I received two email requests an hour apart to share a Dropbox file from the same email [Removed as per Community Guidelines]

Hi @Boxx1956, those look to be legitimate emails from Dropbox.
Do you have a shared link to this PDF? It's possible that they have the link and have requested access to the file.
