Can't access account to cancel

NEED HELP CANCELLING ACCOUNT I HAVE NO WAY TO ACCESS

I no longer have access to the email account that I used to setup a Dropbox account with. I have been getting billed annually and just noticed it. I was a volunteer with an organization that is no longer around. The email address was managed by that group. I found the solution below on Dropbox support page.

 

I have the email address and the Dropbox password but when I try to login it says I need the code that was sent to the email address I no longer have access to.

If you know your Dropbox password but don’t have access to the associated email address, log in to Dropbox then immediately change your email address.

    Hi Frustrateduser9, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

     

    I’d recommend getting in contact with our support team directly to look into this matter in more detail.

     

    You can do this by opening an incognito/private browsing window, while not signed into your account, and accessing this link.

     

    From there you should be able to contact support. Make sure to pick an email to which you can receive and send emails from.

     

    Once you get a ticket ID from the automated response, please let me know the number here so I can locate it in our system.

      I did try to get in contact with the support team. I don't know what question to ask. It tells me to login and immediately change my email address. I can't because I don't have access to the email address to get the code to login. 

      Please advise.

        It looks like you chose the chat option, if you follow the steps in my previous response, you'll get the option to contact the team directly via a ticket.
