I can't sign out from the app on my Mac.

I downloaded Dropbox for Mac and it never asked me to login. The files and folders it is showing there are different from the online account I am logged into. I've looked up how to logout on a Mac but I'm not seeing what the instruction say (Click the Dropbox icon in your taskbar .....Click your avatar).

Dropbox is in my Finder. Can anyone provide instructions on how to logout from there?

Thanks!

Hi there, amiem, let's jump right into this!

If I understand this correctly, it sounds like you wish to sign out of the desktop app locally on the device.

There are the steps. You should be able to locate your little Dropbox icon on the menu bar, next to your WiFi. When you click on it, and follow the steps you should also see the option to sign out of your Dropbox account.

Can you give it a go?

Let me know how it turns out!

      Hi Megan,

Thanks for the quick response. I know what you are talking about 'next to the wifi' signal. I have other icons but not one for Dropbox.

Hey amiem, thanks for the speedy response!

Have you tried re-installing the app using this link, by any chance?
