Unable to cancel subscription as I'm unable to access the account
Hello,
I am trying to cancel my subscription and am being sent in a circle or asked to sign up for a higher-level paid subscription on a new account, get support from Dropbox.
Scenario: Laid off, forgot to cancel my account before email was shutoff. I try signing in to change email on account, however, the system keeps sending a code to the email I am unable to access. I cannot contact my former employer and ask for access to my account, allowing me to verify. For their own security measures this is not possible. I've tried contacting support, which required me to setup another new account, basic. To get support through a live person chat, send a support ticket etc. I have to upgrade my account and pay Dropbox more money to shutoff an account I have not used for several months. Please advise?

You'll need to contact Dropbox Support directly. Visit the Support page while you're NOT signed in to a Dropbox account, including these forums, and you'll see an option for Billing issues. It's best to use an Incognito or Private browsing session to make sure you're not signed in.
They likely won't help you gain access to the account since you don't have access to the email address, but they can help cancel any future charges.
