I merged my account on accident and my family plan was canceled. How can I undo this?

Are you referring to merging your account into a Business team account? If so, you need the team admin to convert your account back to an individual account. It's very important that they don't just remove you from the team as doing so would delete your account. If they were to happen, they only have seven days to restore the account. They must convert it.
Once your account has been converted, you can resubscribe to the Family plan.

I received the following message from a client that I thought was to share but apparently I merged with their account. I had a family plan not business.
Hi Troy,
Your Dropbox account with [removed per Community Guidelines] is invited to join the QLM team. You choose how to manage your existing files when you join.

Yeah, you chose to merge your account into a Business team account. That basically transfers ownership of your account to the team admin. You need to contact them an ask them to follow the instructions I replied with previously.
