If you go to system preferences > Externsions > Finder Extensoins
You should be able to disable finder integration.
Hope this helps!

Hey there happy2fly - how are you today?
Can you clarify this for me as I'm not sure what you mean exactly? Specifically, what do you mean when you say "When it's disabled the image dimensions are displayed in the Finder with my pictures rather than "up to date"?
In addition, you should be able to enable or disable this option through your desktop app's preferences on the General tab as you mentioned . If you're not getting that option, could you send me a screenshot so I can have a better look into this?
Thanks in advance!

This is what my preferences General tab looks like now. The "Enable Finder Integration" option is gone.

Hey guys, thanks for the responses and your ongoing patience on this.
I can confirm that this is true indeed and the checkbox to enable or disable the Finder Integration has been removed from our desktop app's preferences.
You'll be able to find it on your Mac's 'System Preferences', then 'Extensions' and then 'Finder Extensions'. From there you'll be able to toggle it off or on according to your needs.
You can find more information on this on the following page:

I hope this helps to some extent!
