Is it possible that some files have moved to an online-only status? Have you recently upgraded to the latest version of Mac OS, and the Dropbox desktop application?

Yes, that is exactly the issue I’m experiencing with AirDrop.
In regards to the storage issue, I’m not entirely sure if certain files/directories have been set to online-only. I certainly don’t remember purposely enabling this feature when updating to the latest version of Dropbox.
I’m using the latest version of MacOS Ventura on an M1 Pro MacBook Pro and have the latest version of Dropbox Desktop installed.- Jay2 years agoDropbox Staff
It's likely that some files have moved to online-only status, or space was just freed up since the upgrade to the newer version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS.
