How we can work this out?If he has a Professional, Essentials or Business account, ask him to send you a File Request instead. You'll be able to upload directly to his account without affecting your own. If he has a Plus or Family account, you can still use a File Request but each one will still have a 2GB limit.

He does have a Business account and will send me a File Request.
