How to share a 6-minute video without affecting my space on Dropbox

I’m a tech tard the videos impost say not enough space What do I have to do to send a 6 minute video

On top of @JohnnyDogman's fab advice remember here the issue ISNT the length so much of the video it is rather the size of it. You need to make sure it is small enough to fit in the quota you have on your account: www.dropbox.com/account/plan.
