Can I sync my WhatsApp to add automatically every picture that I receive to the Dropbox?

If you have WhatsApp set to automatically save received photos, and Dropbox set to use Camera Uploads, then it will happen automatically. I actually had to disable it because it was annoying seeing every stupid selfie and meme that I received saved to Dropbox.
- 8 years agoYou can get a third party app that does that. Just look for apps that allow you to pick which folders to sync with Dropbox and give it a try :)

Yes it is very annoying indeed. I only want my camera pictures uploaded not WhatsApp pictures. There should be an option to do only camera uploads only.
- Rich8 years agoSuper User IIDropbox can't determine what is a photo from your camera or an image from any other app. It simply uploads any images that it finds in the camera roll (iOS) or the gallery (Android).
If you don't want Dropbox to upload them, then turn off the option in WhatsApp to automatically save images that you receive.- Mushaz8 years agoNew member | Level 2But that's the problem. I want to just point DropBox to my gallery folder for camera uploads. I use WhatsApp too much to disable image downloads. End up just not using Camera Upload at all from DropBox.
