Team member doesn't get notified when someone else is editing a file

I have a team member who does not get the automated DROPBOX message when others are in a file.  This is a problem, and the main reason I changed my membership, as we can't have multiple people workin...

Hi there, @LocalParti, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

 

Just to clarify, are you referring to the Dropbox Badge that appears on MS Office files or to the file locking feature?

 

Any additional info you can give me, would be really helpful.
