Changing Disk Drives - Cannot link Dropbox Account and files are missing

    Hi Jay. Thank you for your response. Yes, it was the correct account. Luckily I had backed up my Dropbox folder before changing disks. When I signed onto the new disk the Dropbox folder was empty and I lost all my files on Dropbox. However, I could not sync my account on the new disk even though I had signed out of my account before switching. I could not sync my account because it stated I had signed into too many accounts. Luckily I noticed the "sign out of other accounts" notice on the opening page to my account was actually a link to literally sign out of other accounts. I was signed in twice on the same device and could then sign out of the hanging account and resync the device. However, since all my files were gone, I simply copied from the backup into my local Dropbox file and the software did the rest, syncing me back to where I was. TL;DR: I managed to log out of a hanging account, restored my files and linked my new device. Thank you for responding.
