need help favorite-ing pictures on PC desktop

I hope I'm posting this question in the right category of the community.

I am relatively new to Dropbox.

I  have a lot of pictures from a family reunion last summer.  I made a dropbox folder for them.

I am working with the pictures on my PC, as it easier to work with them there.

The first thing I want to do is choose my favorite pictures.

I can see how I do this when I am accessing Dropbox on the web, but not how I can do it when I am on my desktop, which is where I prefer to work on this project.

thanks in advance for your help

  • Hi, pdxmaven ,

The star file / folder function is a Dropbox feature that available only on Dropbox web or mobile app. From my understanding, that won't be shown on desktop. As an alternative, you may star all the photos first, then create a new `Favorite` folder to move all the starred files into it. Then the folder will be synced across all the platforms.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers
