Hey Rayborne, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
The best way to check how much Dropbox space you're using, is the plan tab in your account settings.
It will let you know how much more content you need to delete, to be under quota.
Keep in mind that shared folders also take up space in every member's account.
So, if other people keep adding files to the folders, they'll also take up space in your account too.
Let me know if you have any questions!

This issue may have just cost me a job interview!!
- Megan4 years agoDropbox StaffHi Rayborne, I hope you're doing well!
Have you checked your plan page, as Hannah instructed? What did you find there?
Keep in mind that if you had exceeded your account's estimated quota a lot, you would also need to delete a large amount of quota to bring your account below its limit.
I hope this clarifies!- Rayborne4 years agoHelpful | Level 6
The bar says I am full however there is very little data in the dropBox. Yesterday I deleted 100's of gigabytes of data and the plan page bar dropped down to only about 10% full which was great however just a few minutes later it popped back up to full even though I did NOT add any data.

i want to delete the data in my dropbox.
tell me how to do
- Jay3 years agoDropbox StaffHi nozomu katagiri, you can login to your Dropbox, account on the site and delete the files from there.
You can also install the Dropbox desktop application and then delete the files from the Dropbox folder which would also delete them from the site.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know!

I can delete, reinstall, put in, delete again and on and on.
