"Are you sure you want to delete this file" error message
I just turned off "Are you sure you want to delete this file" error message
How can I turn it on?
- 3 years agoHey heaven1206, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
There is a way to re-enable a file system warning such as this, if you disabled it.
Please try these steps.
1. Click on the Dropbox icon in your system tray/menu bar.
2. Click on your initials or profile pic
3. Click on preferences
4. In the Account tab, press 'Option/Alt key' (Mac) or 'Alt + H' (Windows).
5. Click on 'reset file system warning options'
Let me know how it goes!

How do I stop the Are-you-sure-you-want-to-delete-this-file warning?

Hey dropitlikeitshot1 - could you send us a screenshot of the message you're referring to so that we make sure we're on the same page?
Are you talking about the notification you get when deleting online only files perhaps?
