Images Doesn't Show a Thumbnail Icons

I just purchased a new laptop. 
I have synced all the files but the images [JPG and PNG] are not showing the thumbnail only the Photo icon app.

The old one is showing all the thumbnails.

Dropbox is updated 156.4.4908.

The setting is "Available Offline"

 

What is happening?

    Hey ZMT, thanks for joining our Community.

     

    If you right click on these files and choose to make them online-only, do the thumbnails appear?

      This is not a viable solution. One of the major reasons to use dropbox is to have files stored locally on your computer AND in the cloud.

       

      Switching files to online only then having to download them EVERY time you want to use them is not a solution. Especially for large files.
