Files online but not in Windows explorer

I have seen that this was an issue in the past, but the solutions are now out of date, so I am hoping someone can help me with this. Sometimes files that I know are in Dropbox, and that appear in D...

I'd be more than grateful if you could attach some screenshots here in your next reply.

Can you search for an example file on the web and show me the results you get, versus what you see when you search for the same file on the desktop app?

Screenshots From my Dropbox on Desktop vs. Web.  Note on Web there is a Folder named 4-TS Resumes, not found in Desktop IE

I want this Folder but not as 4-

    Hey Trish S.2, sorry to jump in. 

    Have you checked the selective sync settings of your desktop app perhaps? There's a chance that this folder has been unchecked, so as to not sync locally on your device. 

    Let me know what you find!
