Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Please help.7.1KViews2likes29CommentsTeam folders in Power Automate have stopped working after 20/04/2024 upgrade
Since the upgrade to Dropbox on the 20/04/2024 we have encountered a number of issues with apps and programs that utilise Dropbox. Rather than confusing the issue, the first of these relates to Microsoft power automate. The team Dropbox folders that are shared with me and monitored by this program have now disappeared. The only Dropbox folders I can see our my specific folders, and not those that I have access to as part of a team. In my DBL Dropbox desktop folder I have my profile folder and then I have access to all the team folders that I am part of. I can access these on my desktop and online without an issue. The problem I have is that if I am trying to access these team folders through any other software, they are not visible following the upgrade on 20 April? This is causing major issues and I assume that there is a setting that needs to be changed for me and my colleagues? Any thoughts would be appreciated.5.3KViews1like15CommentsI can't see the top level folder in Adobe after the latest Dropbox team update
Our organization (Dropbox Advanced) recently was migrated to the Dropbox "team space" file system model. I have encountered no unexpected behavior with interacting with my files in macOS Finder or Windows Explorer in the usual way. However, I occasionally will use the Adobe + Dropbox integration to access PDFs in my Dropbox folders directly inside Acrobat Pro or Acrobat Reader, both in macOS and in Windows. After we were migrated, theAdobe + Dropbox integration (under "Other file storage" in the Acrobat sidebar) only seems to be able to access my personal folder within my Dropbox ("/[FullName]"), not the top level ("/"). Furthermore, the file storage label under "Other file storage" in the Acrobat sidebar is still "Dropbox ([OrgName])" instead of the new "[OrgName] Dropbox" as it it labeled in macOS Finder and Windows Explorer. I have disconnected and reconnected the Adobe + Dropbox integration inside Acrobat in both macOS and Windows, and the behavior is the same; no access to the top level. Acrobat is up to date in all cases. Is this a situation where Adobe has not updated their macOS and Windows Acrobats to accommodate these changes? My iOS Adobe Acrobat works just fine with the team space model, with appropriate and expected access to the top level of files. We are using Monday.com as our CRM. I have an integration with Sync Pulse to automatically create a dropbox folder. When sending this link to clients to upload documents it is not a file request link only viewable. How can I use this feature to automatically create a file request link from dropbox?147Views0likes1CommentSyncing from Synology cloud app has caused duplicates, and now syncing is stuck.
Client had a Team and Personal account for many years and they were linked, allowing sharing from Personal to Team folders. Team account was synced from Synology Cloud Sync app. After changeover in April or so of this year, we received email to update Cloud Sync app and reconfigure using Dropbox Team service. Did so. Chaos reigned as all folders from Personal and Team accounts were duplicated. Dropbox support had us delete old folders which we did. Relinked Team account from Synology and it is stuck, showing errors on a few files. Deleted these files from Synology after pausing sync, then resumed sync, but still stuck. Stopped Cloud Sync service and restarted- still no good. Deleted configuration and re set up- still no luck. We are out of options and quite frustrated! Thank you in advance.297Views0likes8CommentsI found some old Boxcryptor files, but don't have the key. Are they encrypted forever?
Hey there, I just found some encrypted files via Boxcryptor on an old drive and wonder if there's any chance to decrypt them. I missed the part of downloading the .bckey file. If I try to log in with my user on the website or on the app it says my user doesn't exist. Is there any chance to decrypt the files or am I just too late and the files are gone forever? Thanks for any help on that.241Views0likes4Comments- 1.9KViews0likes1Comment
