I can't see the content of my Keynote images after uploading them to Dropbox.
I have been using Dropbox for years to share Keynote files to another computer. This last time my shared file did not include the background images on my slides. (However, they were visible on the thumbnails, just not on the main viewing section.). The slides were unusable as there was no contrast between the dark grey slide and the text. What I created had good contrast and was very readable. This happened with 2 different computers on 2 different days with the same file. Whey did this happen and how can I avoid it in the future. I had no way of knowing there was a problem until I got to church to run the slide for worship! I was able to quickly work around the problem. But all my work was wasted and I will not be there every time to correct the issue on the fly. Please help me solve this problem. Thank you.Why can't I preview Scrivener files?
Just made an account, put a desktop app, and uploaded some text files created in Scrivener. Every item I click on yields an error message: Can’t load this file type This file type is unsupported here (download button) Evidently, I am doing something wrong, and I don't know what it is. So, I can't correct it! a. Why would I download something that I just uploaded? b. why would Scrivener recommend using Dropbox if the .scriv are not supported? c. Why do all your commercials make it seem like just drag and drop - yet nothing works d. I remember paying for DB a couple of times and losing all interest after a few frustrating experiences like this one e. Why can't DB hold hands of totally new-to-cloud apps and go one step at a time f. I took the free tutorial on three separate occasions, but each time my questions were ignored g. I am hoping this latest attempt to use DB will be good, somehow.
Make folder available to other apps on Android?
I'd like to use Dropbox to sync Obsidian markdown files on my Android phone and tablet (since the official Obsidian sync corrupts my files). How can I do that? I tried doing "Make available offline" but that didn't make the folder available to other apps, only within the Dropbox app. I tried DropSync but that only syncs once every hour, which is not often enough for using Obsidian. Excel files all open as corrupted files
Hi. I have a large amount of excel files stored in my dropbox..... Yesterday they opened and worked ok, but today, they all generate an error when being opened which reads..... "Excel cannot open the file '<filename>.xlsm' or <filename>.xlsx because the file format or file extension is not valid. Verify that the file has not been corrupted and that the file extension matches the format of the file" This occurs on 4 different computers running the latest Office365 version. Ive also tried downloading the file and then opening, but the same error message is generated. The files also will not open in the online version of excel or the quickviewer. We're talking about hundreds of excel files which were all working then suddenly are not. Any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards
