Dropbox keeps sending me bogus messages that my dropbox is full and that my files will soon stop syncing. My dropbox is NOT full, and I resent receiving all these bogus messages. I'm afraid this is a dirty tactic by DropBox to blackmail me into upgrading, and that they will soon stop synching my files in order to escalate this blackmailing tactic. How do I get them to STOP sending me these bogus email messages, leave me alone, and maintain my free account without fear of losing my files? I will NOT be blackmailed by ANYONE, including Dropbox!3.4KViews2likes12CommentsQuicken Coupon says "code already used"
Quicken offers a coupon for 5GB free Dropbox storage for Quicken subscribers. However, upon submitting the code, Dropbox says my code has already been used. This seems to be a common issue as there are many similar posts in the Dropbox Community, but without resolution. Some say they chatted with Dropbox Support, but I don't find a channel for contacting Dropbox directly. I could really use the additional 5GB of Dropbox storage. How can I resolve this?2.2KViews0likes7CommentsPromise of 50 GB free forever was simply retracted?
Several years ago I purchased two Samsung Galaxy Camera. Samsung promised that for each camera, I was entitled to 50 GB free Dropbox storage forever. There was no deadline within which I needed to activate. So far I have only activated the promition from one of the two cameras. Have I been s---w-d on the other one? According to this post, Dropbox will not honor the free Dropbox offer, is that correct? Hi Dropbox. I know this is a community post, but I hope Dropbox listens in as well. Could you please stop harrassing me about my account "approaching storage limit"? 1. I'm using 7.89 GB of 9 GB. That's over 1 GB of free space. Plenty. And off cause I'm not keeping half the Dropbox empty, that would be stupid. 2. You're constantly telling me this, on the mobile app, the web app and the Windows app. Again and again. For years. I know what happens if my Dropbox gets full. It's not a big deal, other than I needs telling when it's actually full so I can clean up (usually my Camera Uploads-folder), and then every device syncs again. Easy peasy. 3. No matter how many times you present me with a link to "Upgrade now", I'm not gonna buy more space before strongly considering my options. I know I might not be like most users or at least some user. So you're not losing out on any business by removing the banner at least for me (and others like me). Please add an option to disable any and all notifications about "approaching storage limit" on mail, web site banners, popups, apps etc. I only want to know when it is actually full. Or add an option for setting the limit for WHEN you should warn me. Then I'd set this to 100 MB before actually full. Either would be great. I hope you will consider this 🙂 Best regards SvendK602Views0likes2Comments
