MS Word track changes visible in uploaded files
I have edited MS word documents on my computer using Review/track changes. The files are saved with Review/Markup off. When I upload these files to a dropbox folder (shared), they display a track changes/markup view. When I permanently delete these files and try uploading them again, the markup view again appears. How do I upload the files to Dropbox (web, not app) without markup edits displaying, i.e. clean edited copy?
Using dropbox as server for website
Good day, We are building a website (www.guerrilla-exhaust.com). And we are using Dropbox as a server for our pictures. Now everything worked perfect for a couple of days, but today all our pictures became invinsible. Example go to producten->auto->Audi->A1-S1 and you can see the little icon telling there used to be pictures, but the site cant find them. I have contacted our website hosting, but they dont have experience with Dropbox so they couldnt help me. They told me that the website couldnt find the HTML which would mean that the dropbox pictures arent public. I have placed all the pictures in a shared folder so they should be public. Can anybody help me with this problem? Thank you in advance, Wouter
Video File Conversion ends up with a total loss of audio.
Using the Save As feature, I have a total loss of audio when converting from MOV to a MP4 720P or MP4 360P file (the video conversion looks fine). Any ideas on how to remedy this? The reason for compression is that it's a large file (489MB). I need to reduce to at least a <60MB.
Dropbox status icon not displaying for only one file
I have been using Dropbox for several years without incident -- to share files between several Macs. Yesterday, however, I saved a file to Dropbox that is not displaying any status icon in the Finder. The file is available on all the Macs that I sync with, but there is no icon shown on any device. I've restarted the Macs in question, but still no icon for that one file. Any suggestions?
