Hello! I have shared files with 2 members and gave them editing access. They can open dropbox on their end and see the file but cannot edit. One user was able to open a file in another window and make edits but they did not appear in the shared file. We have a family plan if that matters. Help!
Editors in a folder cannot invite others to the folder with edit permissions
I'm an admin for our work dropbox folder. I have changed the permissions in my settings so that anyone who is an editor can share an invite for another editor. However, when my colleagues have done this, the person who receives the invite can only view the folder. They are unable to upload anything. Can you please advise on some possible solutions to this problem.
Cannot ask for support / disable download option on a link with Dropbox Essentials

Hi, when using File Request with external users, I have to make sure that each uploaded file remains anonymous to me. I'll use File Request to collect 360° feedbacks about managers, and the participants need to be sure I won't be able to retrieve the identity of the senders. Is it possible ? Thanks, Didier
I think the "1 Shared folder over the limit" needs to be removed.
Dropbox will soon run into serious problems if they do not lift the "1 shared folder over limit" limit. Its only a matter of time before more and more users gather more and more data within their folders and start to experience the same issues my organisation is having. I have now reached my limit, and am now putting my business IP, templates, budgets and designs at risk as I have open / unlocked folders in my company that have zero access permissions. I do not have the option of moving folders or deleting folders as many of my files have links attached to them, and moving them around will de-link the assets created for the specific project, or come from a global library of assets used in multiple projects in multiple locations over many years. I highly recommend that the Dropbox support team urgently resolve this as it changes the overall function and security features that Dropbox offers.How can I make sure only a specific user can access my shared link?
Is there a way to send a share link to a user who does not have a Dropbox account, but restrict the viewing to only that person? In other words, I don't want to send the link with "Anyone with Link" setting, because I don't want them to forward the link to others. I tried the "Only People Invited" option, and I added their email to the Shared List, but it keeps asking for them to create a Dropbox account when they try and view the file. I must be doing something wrong, just not sure what. Any help would be apprecitated.
