Hello, If I try to sign in/continue with Apple id in browser or iOS app. It shows an error > account is disabled. But when I sign in using the same icloud email, there is no any issue. I made a mistake of choosing "Hide my Email" on my first attempt to sign in and it created the new account which I had to delete. After that I can't use the Continue with Apple feature anymore. Please solve the issue. Thanks6.3KViews1like27CommentsUpdate (not reset) password on phone

Hi, so I was recently hacked (someone gaine access to all of my (unique) passwords) which I changed from a secure device promptly after. A couple of hours ago I received 6-digit verification code on my phone which I did not request. Does this neccessarily mean that my account password is compromised again? Or could this request to my phone have been produced by the attacker without him having to my new password? (E.g. by attempting to reset the password only with my known email address and a currently logged in phone? I have not been able to reproduce this). I'm not so much worried about the failed login attempt itself, but the fact that all of my passwords could be compromised again. As a photographer is use Dropbox to transmit, store and handle my files. lately when running a search for the word "FIRE", the search function returned multiple pictures from my archive with flames in them. Question 1: has my Photography Archive been subject to Ai image analysis? (which it obviously has been...) - what kind? - by what tools? and most importantly, where did i concent to any of it? (yes i read the 'Legal' page thoroughly) disclaimer: as an event photographer i am involved in all kinds of Private, Open & Deeply personal moments from peoples lives, i have an Etheic Moral and Legal duty to protect my clients, partners, models, childrens & friends privacy, dignity and basic right not to have their likeness and very life be used to feed some data set somewhere withiout their knowlege and concent. i use Generative Ai tools as part of my personal and professional creative research, i see the potential, but am also aware of the possible implications. Question 2: has my Phototography Archive (my body of work) been compromised, sold, copied or in any other way transfered to any third party without my concent? i think you get where im going with this.... am i doomed to have my stuff be fed to the Ai data machine by simply having it on the internet? i am only asking because i am already extremely doubtfull of my future as an Artist and Creative Professional. i love Dropbox a lot and use it all the time and recommend it to everyone, i really hope i don't soon grow to regret it... would love to hear your thoughts. ~T187.Solved2.7KViews1like4CommentsSelective sync on Android
Hi, I appear unable to do this on an Android device or phone, I have personal files on my Desktop that I do not want to be shown at all on an Android device, but when downloading the app and logging in all the files are displayed. I see this has been requested since 2015 through to 2020 but don't see a suitable solution. Anyone advise a way around it? ThanksSolved2.2KViews0likes10CommentsCan you restrict selective sync by device, instead of by user?
Long story short, I need the user of an iMac in our office to have full dropbox access. I need that same user to have access to only certain folders on an iPad. On both the iMac and iPad, the user account is the same. If I selectively sync certain folders to the iPad, any iPad user can simply click the dropbox app, selectively sync all folders, and then have full access to the entire dropbox folder. This is obviously not acceptable from a security standpoint. Is there a way to restrict which folders sync based on which device dropbox is used on, rather than by which account is logged in? I'm really surprised I can't find a solution. This is a security dealbreaker for us and will cause us to move to a different file sharing app if syncing can't be restricted by device.Solved1.7KViews1like4Comments
