Dropbox is not searchable in Mac OS Monterey 12.0.1
Dropbox files/folders are not searchable in spotlight on new MacBook Pro with M1 chip - Monterey OS 12.0.1. Have re-indexed spotlight. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Dropbox and rebooted. Hello, when I search for a common term on finder I often only want to see it within a specific Dropbox folder so I don't have to wade through every file containing that term on my entire mac. I've just gotten a new MacBook Pro and the finder search works fine for "This Mac" but when you select the individual dropbox folder it comes up blank. Any ideas?Solved1.7KViews2likes6Comments
How does Dropbox OCR work?
New to Dropbox ... I understand that Dropbox can perform OCR on my pdf (and other) files? Do I need to do something to make this happen? My workflow involves scanning paper directly to my Dropbox folder; which then syncs to my NAS (the NAS has Dropbox integration in its OS.) Or, scan and save to the NAS, which then syncs to Dropbox. In either of these scenarios (preferably both), will Dropbox automatically perform OCR so that the document is searchable on both the NAS and in the Dropbox cloud?
