Dropbox Replay
26 TopicsSubtitles / Captions Support in Replay
It would be super helpful for my team if .SRT subtitle files were supported in Dropbox Replay. Almost all of our projects use subtitles and it's hard to convince my team on Replay without some sort of subtitle/caption support. It's also important for accessibilitystandards. Lots of reasons to support captions. As a side note, Replay is great and I love the integration with DaVinci Resolve. You've all done some nice work here Dropbox!6.9KViews16likes9CommentsReplay - Comments follow versions
As I go through versions - it would be good to have the comments follow - so when looking at a new version I can see if the requested changes were in fact completed and completed to my liking. Right now if I add a new version all the comments remain attached to the older version - and so while viewing the new version I can not follow along and resolve.2.5KViews14likes9CommentsControl the notification emails Dropbox Replay sends everytime a comment is made.
Really get overwhelmed due to the way my team is working. We don't all need to see every comment. It would be so much better to have a global setting to turn email notifications on or off and also a drop down to send a particular notification to only the people who need to see it.1.3KViews10likes3CommentsDropbox Replay and Avid Media Composer
It is essential to make Dropbox Replay compatible with Avid Media Composer Adobe Premiere Pro is very useful for small and medium productions. DaVinci resolve is mainly used for color grading. Sometimes in editing. But when it comes to large productions, involving multiple collaborations such as VFX and compositing houses, using softwares like Nuke or Silhouette, we enter a different league. They all, without exception, use the MXF file format. So far, MC is the only software that does not use linked files. Everything is imported into a specific folder, transcoded into MXF, separated from the sources, which makes it the most stable system in the world. A solid rock. For all these reasons, I strongly suggest that Dropbox Replay include Avid Media Composer in the list of compatible editing softwares. Thank you, guys! Hi I love this service! Its useful and easy to use! But I noticed its not possible tomove Folder or Files from one project to another. I created a lot of files and folders, we already got some comments there and versions, and realized that its not in the correct project. Would be awesome and apriciated if you please add this feature asap. Thank you in advance!2.6KViews7likes5CommentsDropbox Replay compare mode - add the ability to see comments on previous versions
Hello, When reviewing new versions on Compare Mode, there's no way (or I can't find a way) to see the comments from a previous versions to understand if the issues were addressed or not. As a workaround, I have to open two different windows set them side by side, one with current version and another with the previous version, I call it Manual Compare Mode. I don't think this makes any sense. Making the switch from Frame.IO this is something that is extremely useful that I really miss. Also, Compare Mode should be available on shared links as my clients also miss this feature, as it is extremely useful as already stated in many posts. Can Dropbox please add the ability to see previous versions comments in Compare Mode? Cheers!796Views5likes6CommentsMute Specific Audio Channels for Timecode, 5.1, etc.
It would be great to mute/un-mute or even adjust volume of individual audio channels. This affects a vast array of industries. Whether you're tracking separate audio streams in a stereo channel or dealing with 5.1. Everything from film shoots to post-production workflows would benefit greatly from having this control and this is a feature that no competitors have. One example we run into often is that we'll have timecode on one stereo audio channel and program audio on the other. We have to render a separate video for Replay that mutes the timecode channel. With this feature, we could cut that from our workflow.1.1KViews5likes2CommentsDownload option to multiple files at once in Replay.
Download option to multiple files in Replay would be nice as we have like 70 videos and we would like to download the whole folder structure if possible. I know we can use transfer or the "old" dropbox link (which we doing now), but it would be nice to have an option to download the same version. Thanks in advance.1.4KViews5likes4Comments
