Using AI to sort and search my photos
Hi, it's 2024 . IA is here. Please, scan all my photo and suggest something to sort them or help me find what I need. I have a Folder "Camera Uploads"with more than 30 000 photos from my phone. It is impossible to sort them or search them or even to navigate in the folder. Ex : I want to find the photo in a night market in china . It takes seconds within the Iphone. It is impossible on dropbox except if the photo is named "night market china" (spoiler : it isn't) . So Dropbox is good to save the pictures but barely usable to use/search for them . Please do something
Dropbox audio transcription feature
Hi, I have three questions to ask you: 1. I upload an audio file, I have Dropbox AI transcribe it into words, I see on the side that the text is divided in short paragraphs (I think breaking between different people talking), and then when I copy the text and past it into .Word, it pastes it into one big chunk of text. Is there a way to copy it and past it maintaining the paragraphs? 2. Also, if there a different way to produce a .Word or similar document out of the transcript without having to copy and paste it and thus run into the problem I encountered? 3. It seems to me that AI Dropbox is quite accurate in the transcription. Is there any way for me to improve the quality of the transcription besides recording the sound/interview in a quiet place and with a good recorder? I tried doing this with a good IPhone, but I can also record the interviews with a Zoom recorder (which quality should be better). Thank you for any tip or answer! UCT
Can I use the Dropbox AI to create smart folders and organize my files?
Hello, My Dropbox is a total mess -- like a pile of disorganized papers tossed all over the bed. Can anyone tell me please if Dropbox can use AI to sort files by file name and create "smart folders" for me? I need some help organizing and streamlining my "All Files". Thank you -

Fellow DropBox Community Members, If you don't already know this, Third-Party AI is automatically set to "ON" without our permission. To FIX THIS: Go to your Account Icon > Settings > Third-Party AI and toggle OFF. Why DropBox thought it was a good idea not to be up front about this change is beyond me. But it's *very shady* and I'm not happy about it! I'm a longtime customer but I know I have other options and will leave if DropBox gets way too cozy with Third-Party AI folks. Sincerely, ECM
