Download progress/status bar when using the mobile app on Android
When using the mobile app, it would be great to have a download notification/progress bar. I usually download videos which take a minute or two to download but, I am sat waiting until I see the 'Exported' notification pop up. Thaankkss!

Option to download/print the list of tasks using filters in Paper
It would be of enourmous help to be able to download and/or print the list of tasks using filters: by selected dates, by selected documents and by selected persons. It will make Paper more helpful and even more productive than what it is now.

Need to be able to print the entire file structure for any account
I know other people have suggested this but I'm just adding my two cents worth - Being able to download/print the entire file structure for your records or to share with others - would save having to manually record it in a spreadsheet. Not sure why there hasn't been any action on it since 2019 - too hard perhaps?

one step annual backup to external hard drive
It is very difficult to do an overall backup to external hard drive for our company. (We treat dropbox as our cloud server so you hold a lot of data--terrabytes). Right now, we are nearly having to download per file (photogrammetry, large scale aerial imagery), sometimes per folder and it's making our annual backup very very time consuming. Really wish there was a back up to giant external hard drive in one step action that enabled all sub folders. After all, that's what separates Dropbox from Google Drive and Microsoft product is that you do folders so much better. large scale items we use: drones, survey scanners, video traffic count files

Be able to download all the URLs of each file in a folder of my choice.
It would be great to have a function where I can download the URLs of each file within a specific folder. Currently, I need to do it manually, which is painful.

Make it possible to convert a Dropbox list of folder names and/or file names into a list on an Excel spreadsheet or some other easy program to sort, copy, save and otherwise manipulate them.

Upload/download from linux app
Hello, I understand that SmartSync is not available for Linux, but I decided to pay a personal license to backup some of my files (from external HDs, etc) to Dropbox via the website, on a directory excluded from syncing on my devices via selective sync. I quickly discovered that loading whole directories via browser is very slow, it's saying 1-2h left (to 1 day) for a directory of 2.3Gb. I get that integrating with Nautilus for the smart sync is hard and that there are not so many users but...would it be possible to add to the linux client the possibility of uploading/downloading directories to bypass the website and offer a 'manual' smart sync option? I am a little bit out of options not to make sense of the 2Tb of space I've just bought...

Support downloading folders as compressed zip files
As I have described in https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-files-folders/Downloaded-zip-file-content-is-not-compressed-storage-method/m-p/536933, currently if you download a folder from Dropbox, the generated zip content is not compressed. It would be nice if the zip content was actually compressed - in fact I was surprised by the fact that it was not, as compression is something one would expect for granted from a file storage service as popular as Dropbox. While compression may incur some extra processing on Dropbox's end, I'm guessing there's major benefits to be gained in terms of server/client bandwidth usage, download duration, etc. In my case the folder contained a few PDF files, and could still have benefited from a ~15% size reduction (if deflate compression were used); the actual reduction could be massive for textual content etc. To reduce unnecessary processing/overhead, Dropbox could skip trying to compress file types that are known to be already compressed or uncompressible (e.g. videos, zip files) - or expose an option for the user to decide/request compression at the folder download action itself.

Embedded video without downloading permitted
We want to change our video hosting to Dropbox as Dropbox can be more efficient (no conversion times, we already have space bought) so we can embed them onto our wordpress and people cannot download. This way we would use Dropbox for everything in our team without the need of buying more services. But we need the video not to be available for downloading. Another way is having the code to embed the dropbox player that works without the video ready to download.
