16 TopicsDeath and gaining access
Hi there, My husband recently died. I need to gain access to his account. I remember his password but for the 2 step validation I need to access his email which has now been shut down. Any suggestions on how I can contact dropbox so that I can send the letter and the death certificate? Thanks team!Solved2.4KViews0likes9CommentsDropbox Account Looks Different From My Entire Team
When I log into my company's Dropbox account using the standard username and password it looks completely different from the rest of my team. I am seeing different folders, can't access necessary files and also can't seem to get into contact with a support member based on my company's plan... I used to be able to login to the correct Dropbox account but something changed and I don't know how to fix this issue.426Views0likes3CommentsBlank Login Screen When Using Safari
When using Safari on a Mac, I am unable to log in to Dropbox because the login screen is blank. I have updated Safari, cleared cache, cleared history, cleared cache again, but nothing will get the login screen to show. I took a look at the web inspector and I see this error: SyntaxError: Unterminated regular expression literal...... Any ideas?Solved2.3KViews0likes9CommentsDead Father's Link Disabled
Hello, My father passed away suddenly. He scanned thousands of family photos onto Dropbox and gave us all the link. A few months after he passed, if not earlier, Dropbox disabled the link due to "something suspicious - like a lot of downloads in a day." The message provides no way of recovering the link. How can I contact a human being at Dropbox to discuss this issue? Thank you, Alec Bowman354Views0likes1CommentDropbox Paper Security Issue
Everybody with the link to my paper file has access to it even if I didn't grant it. How to reproduce: 1. Create a new paper file(do not share it somehow) 2. Copy the URL from the browser 3. Open this URL in the incognito mode(Or anywhere where you are not logged in) Expected: - 404 or 403 Actual: - The page opens and you can view the file PS: I've searched how to open a bug, or contact Dropbox support, but looks like you can't do it if you don't have a business account.Solved1.4KViews0likes4Comments
