Store offline files on SD card on Android devices

I have an ASUS ZenPad 8 running Android 6.0 and right now I'm running Dropbox on the internal memory.  This works great but I'm using up ~4.5Gb of internal storage.  I'd like to run Dropbox on my 128Gb microSD in the tablet but don't know how to do this.

I can (and did) do this on my Window's desktop but that was relatively easy, basically just changing the location call for Dropbox from my C: Drive to the D: Drive.

How do I do this in an Android system?

Well, it used to be a feature so I assume it is not so very difficult.

I for one switched to another Cloud Storage provider which does have this function.
