Request for Dark Mode for the Website and the Desktop (including Paper)

I nearly go blind every time I open dropbox, how can you guys have been around so long yet you still don't have a simple toggle to change the CSS style to a darker color to not blind your users?

Seriously. Can we please get a night mode?

    Hi Everybody,
     
    We love to see our users engaging here on the community! This enthusiasm has made this thread grow into something bigger than we could have anticipated. In order to create the best experience here on the community, I have started a few new Ideas posts so that we can provide updates on Dark Mode by product rather than having one thread addressing multiple products.
     
    We value your ideas on the community. All of the comments and likes show us how valuable features like Dark Mode are to our users. We can point to this enthusiasm when we highlight feature requests to our various teams. You all have helped us deliver Dark Mode on Paper and Mobile.
     
    To sum up the current status: Dark Mode is currently available on Paper and Mobile (iOS/Android). Dark mode is currently not available on Desktop, Web, and Paper for Mobile. You can find a short update and a link to the new, dedicated threads below.
     
    Desktop
    The current status for Desktop is “Investigating.” The idea post can be found here. At this time, we are actively looking into improving the Desktop experience, including implementation of Dark Mode. There is no confirmed time frame. We will update the linked thread when we know more.
     
    Web
    The current status for Dark Mode on Web is also “Investigating.” The idea post can be found here. The Web team is actively looking into implementing Dark Mode, but we do not currently have a confirmed time frame. We will update the linked thread when we have more information.
     
    Paper for Mobile
    An existing thread for this idea can be found here. The status for Dark Mode for Paper for Mobile is Not For Right Now. This means that it is not currently being considered. You can share your support by liking and commenting this idea via the link provided!
     
    If I missed a platform or product where you would like to see Dark Mode, please share your idea here. We have also compiled a few tips for posting a great idea.

    Almost June 2023 and I haven't seen any updates about this. Even in the middle of the day, I have everything else on my computer set to dark mode because I don't want to get blinded while I'm in front of a computer all day. Has there been any progress on getting this figured out or adding it as an option?

    You will have to update xCode.app version 14.3 and MacOS 13.4

    I don't believe you said "unprofessional in my workflow due to the lack of dark mode " no I never believe you. They can do that dark mode all time. 

    There already Dark Mode on top and right side.

    Please make this happen asap. Yours is the only app and website that looks this unprofessional in my workflow due to the lack of dark mode in 2023. Every other good menu bar app implemented this years ago (iStat, NordVPN, Clocker, Klokki, etc). It's been half a decade already since the initial request on this thread. This and the in-app ads for your other products are currently the only reasons I consider switching cloud providers.

    Sigh I am not talk about Website, I am not talk about Desktop. I talk about Finder Mac Dropbox.app need to fix dark mode for Mac only "FINDER" only.
