PLEASE make 'Recents' a standard tab in the Gmail app

The old gmail plugin showed a Recents tab. It went away, it came back. Now this plugin is being retired. I'd love to see this Recents tab in the Dropbox for Gmail -- it's too many clicks to dig into ...
