I was listening to MacBreak Weekly this week and Ashley Nelson-Hornstein of no less than Dropbox was in their discussion about 64-Bit devices and how great it was for software, etc.. All I could think about was why it was taking so long to turn the Mac Client into a 64 app?
This silence is deafening from Dropbox on this. This is one of my last two always running apps that runs at 32-bits. This is such an easy fix to reduce the overhead of the app. All these other bells and whistles they keep adding offer little value to me. Updating the app to 64 bit for the sake of resource utilization would go a lot further.
