I'd love to see a an individual quota add-on for plans.
10€/ month is a total no go for me. and by the way I do not need 1TB. at least not now.
But give me 1/10 for 1/10 and I would sign up in a heartbeat.
The argument that they lost money because people downgraded. In my view that just emphasize that the pricing scheme is wrong. Some people have bought in for 1TB because that is the only next step. That also indicates that some of the paying subscribers are paying for something the really do not need but had no other option. That is not a good way to treat your customers. Because this means that the second somebody else comes with a better offer. Your customers are gone. and unhappy customers doesn't come back. Even if you try lowering the price at that point then it will be too little too late. I like dropbox have been using it for a long time now. But I am looking for alternatives simply because my cloud storage requirement is more than the 13GB I have now. but way below 1TB. I would really like an option where I can increase storage and price gradually as I need it. Cloud storage is a competitive space. It is about trust, price, availability and features. Microsoft, Google and Apple are on their way. So Dropbox you need to be more competitive or offer other features that people want to pay for. Right now I only use dropbox because of sharing. And I struggle with limited space and 10€ a month is not an option. I have cloud space with the three companies mentioned, but non of them are good or trustworthy enough yet. Every new release they send out they are getting closer. They all have someting that Dropbox does not have. An eco-system around their cloud. Dropbox try with photos. Well I find that feature annoying because it use the limited space I have. and I already have my photos elsewhere. Dropbox you need to come up with something or I believe you will loose the upcoming battle. You have a lot of customers now because you where among the first. Well surprise first is not enough anymore.
- TigerfabioNew member | Level 2For more users 2 Gb space are not a good storage and 2Tb are too much as 11,99€/month...
Other cloud having less space but perfect for some users (Like me)
For example 4,9/5,99/€/month for 100 or 200 Gb - Danny KalbExplorer | Level 3
I'm an individual that has a a personal account. I don't need any kind of team or professional account. I make music, and I need more online storage. I've previously added 1 TB of storage to my account, now I'm up to 4 TB. I need one more. Dropbox chat agent is saying they will only let you add storage once. This is news to me.
When i added storage before, my cost went up - the price scaled up with the storage. I'm baffled why Dropbox would not let people pay more for more storage. I literally want to pay them, and they won't do it.
And I don't remember anyone saying "choose wisely, when you add space one time, you never can again!" If i had know i probably would have chose to add even more storage (and pay dropbox even more money)".
- HariprasadNew member | Level 2There is a huge gap between Basic and Plus plan. Lot of people dont require 2TB space and price is also very high. Try to provide lesser GB plans so that people can afford to those plans.

Hello. I am an independent occupational therapist contractor working 3-5 hours a week. The agency I work for only accepts Dropbox as their shared files. I do not need to access all of their files. To spend $119.88/year for 20 hours a month is too expensive. Please consider offering a lower priced plan. Thank you.

My question !!!!!!! It is possible that the subscription can be adjusted for you. Now I think you are missing out on a lot of people because there is no choice that is lower in price and the choice is in GB. For example, there is no choice of 1TB for 5 euros, 500 GB for 2.50 euros, 250 GB for 1.25 euros per month. I think a lot of people will like this choice, which will attract more people because it will be more affordable.

The step up from Basic to Plus is too costly for me as I just need access on a couple of extra devices using the app.. The amount of storage isn't an issue at the moment. It would help to have a plan with say 500 GB and provision for 2 or 3 extra devices for half the cost of the 2000 GB plan.

Hi- It would be so great to have a plan that maybe meets the needs of a lot of customers at half of the $120 price and half the storage. I am barely over the free mark but find $120 a bit unattainable at the moment and frankly 2000GB is not needed when I am at 2.5 - it would help so much.

Oh I´ve seen some posts with some replies about this idea, many of us are very happy with how Dropbox works and all the infrastructure but a wide range of users don´t need 2000 GB and can´t or wan´t to pay that much for something we are not using, however we would be pretty satisfied paying less for less space. The idea is already on the table: 500 gb of $2.5 / 1000 gb for $5 which is proportional to the actual plan of 2000 gb for $10 a year
I´m pretty sure can increase your market share. - MeganDropbox StaffStatus changed:NewtoGathering SupportIf you like this idea, please share how this would help you, and vote to show your support. Our top-voted ideas are shared with our product teams to investigate in our regular reviews.

I would like to make a suggestion.
Most of us need a space between 100gb -200gb, I propose a starter plan of 100gb -200gb, 500gb.
2 TB is too much space and much more expensive. I have contracted a 200GB plan for 40 euros/year and I could have a 100GB plan.
Dopbox would get many more customers
