Hi Dropbox and Carousel team,
I have been a faithful and long time user of both Dropbox and Carousel, but have recently switched to Microsoft OneDrive as my Cloud Drive provider. What I have experi...

I have thousands of photos in DropBox. I turned on Camera Uploads years ago, and never turned it off. I love DropBox, and I love having all my photos safe. But when it comes time to find that photo of my son at the beach, or that video of a presentation I took at a conference... I get endlessly frustrated with scrolling through photos and video organized by date.
Right now I'm considering using http://photowranglr.com for DropBox - it gives you the same search features that iOS and Google Photos has.
Does anyone else still keep photos in DropBox hoping they do a Carousel 2.0 or something? Has everyone already migrated to iCloud or Google Photos?

Hi @alphachannel !
Thanks for opening a great discussion. Being quite a moderate photoshooter, I found thousands of photos overwhelming my iPhone. And... there was DB for the resque. Now all of them are up in the cloud, but.... there is no way to sort , filter or find anything.
Photowrangler looks nice, but they want as much a yearly sub fee for DB just for indexing over 5000 of pix.
Did you see those prices unfair ?
Should a talent pool like Dropbox make use of AlexNet (or other public trained convolutional neural networks) to deliver photowrangler functions (and much more) as a value-added offer for a more reasonable price ?
Have a nice day !

Same here. We do a lot of photography and videography and Dropbox is simply the worst to get organised and have a nice overview over the images. I wish there was something like 'flickr' or 'google photos'.
Dropbox used to have a timeline... it's gone now. It's awesome to downgrade.
