Disable email notification for File Request uploads
Is there an easy way to disable the email notification for each time someone uploads to my FileRequest folder ? I've attempted to turn off most notifications in settings.

Sorry to interrupt your requests, but I'm actually looking for a way to turn these notifications ON. I don;t get that many but it's important I know abou them! Do you have to have an upgraded account? Or is there a simple setting somewhere? Any help appreciated!
Cheers,
Link.

Agree with this. We need a way to disable these notifications
- RichSuper User IIIt's unlikely that these notifications will ever be disabled, but you can easily resolve this yourselves with a simple mail filter. Just create a filter that either deletes the message or moves it to another folder so they don't flood your Inbox. The folder option is the safest, and allows you to review the messages before deleting them. I do that with the emails I receive from this forum (HUNDREDS of emails) and I never see them unless I want to.

Same.
P.S. Even as I type this request, I see a "Email me when someone replies" checkbox for the notification. Ironic.

Please provide an option to turn off the email notifications when a file is uploaded through a file request. I get a notification through the app. That's enough for me.

I'd like to be able to disable this. With [link removed as per Community Guidlines] we run large classes requesting these. If not, can someone please advise on a smart filter to only catch File Request notifications from Dropbox?

The reason that I created a file request in the first place was so my inbox was not flooded with e-mails of students submitting their assignments... Now it's flooded with dropbox e-mails. Useless.

Agreed, this must be super-simple to sort - just make the option to turn off these notifications, otherwise the inbox gets full and you can't see the wood from the trees. It negates the point of using the folder.
