Can we have an option to rotate files within Dropbox?
CAN YOU ROITATE THE VIEW IN DROPBOX IF FILES WERE LOADED UPSIDE DOWN?

Hi there,
I am a historian-in-training and I use Dropbox Plus for my PhD dissertation documents. I was so sad to learn that I cannot easily rotate a picture within the Dropbox application (something you have to do all the time with archive docs). It would save me SO much time and effort if you added that feature!
Thank you,
Virginia

I just added my name too! Two of my clients love DB so I am forced to use it on their files. It's hard to believe that such an basic function is not available!!

Add my name to those who want the ability to rotate documents in Dropbox .

Thanks for the suggestions. I actually like Dropbox though. But now I've got another question for you, how do you collaborate with a customer. Not sure what you do, but I frequently share PDF attachments with customers that I like if they mark up in Dropbox with there revision requests. Do you have a recommendation for something that has PDF mark up tools along with ordinary commenting and notifying about document changes other than via email? I use Evernote a lot, but am looking for something even better.

@Ryan - my client has some specific needs that I will have to research and make sure the new platform can perform.
Depending on the purpose though I have setup clients with Amazon, Google, and iDrive, Sync, and Tresorit.
I use iDrive at home for personal use as well.
You should check some of those out, and do some independent research.
DB is at the bottom of the barrel IMHO.

Out of curiosity, what are you going to recommend?

Absolute joke, I never use DB becuase I'm under the age of 40 but my new client uses it and I am going to recommend a different cloud storage service.
Basic features like this being missed along with the pricing is nothing less than ridiculous.

Wishing for this as well. Sometimes, you know, you just simply want to get a view from a different angle. I'm not blaming Dropbox for asking for more support. I wonder where all the people want to rotate something! Maybe I'm more unusal than I think.

2020 and they say it needs more support to rotate a document. Here's an idea how about making it more user friendly and you might get more people to use DB.
If it wasn't for the company I work for requiring it I wouldn't be on here at all.

Rotating pictures in Dropbox used to be possible, clockwise/anticlockwise, very very simple - nothing to do with editing or adding 73 useless things before you post your life online. It was a tool to be able to see a file horizontally or vertically. Why do you need to go to third party editors to rotate a picture? What is this canvas non sense?
Bring the old, simple things that used to work rather well please.
Many thanks.
