You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
WHAT
I need to unselect multiple photos that I have downloaded across months of uploads without having to scroll through back through all selected photos.
WHY
Time. I selected photos from multiple months and I cannot deselect them at one time.
HOW
Add a "deselect all" button to the top of the Photos Tab.
I started making a new post about this and came across yours so I've added my +1. This is a small issue but it can be HIGHLY inconvenient if you're trying to do this often.
It seems like there is NO option to unselect multiple images without having to manually scroll through and untick them. When you have a few thousand images backed up, this is a real pain to do, especially when the whole page becomes laggy.
"Unselect all" – it's such a ubiquitous feature that its here absence is very puzzling. Thanks.
I've had a dropbox account since early on; paid account since 2015. This one item and the process of having to get votes from people who don't necessarily search for this page is very aggravating. The feature to unselect all is usually built into the original baseline of any application or program that has the select ability. Very poor support to ignore this.

Status changed for..."Not for Right Now" is a total blow off. Really I don't know your progamming back end, but this could not be simpler. I can Hold my shift key down and select a gazillion files...but I can unselect them. We just need an clear selection button option. Get it together. Google's looking better...not a threat, but a sorry, not sorry...walk away with my $130 a year. Just do it!
I agree, this is super frustrating. And seems like it would be trivial to implement.
I actually find it hard to believe this isn’t possible! Spent ages looking for the deselect tab, but now see it isn’t considered worth having one? Does feel very clunky having to troll through and deselect. There is a ‘selected’ counter top right of the screen - surely this means the selection is saved/logged. Why can’t it just toggle to ‘clear selection’???
