Such as what?
What does it fix?
What are we testing?
What are these 'improvements'?

Why ask those questions?
If you want - just try it.
If it works for you - great.
If you find issues - report them.
Your testing helps Dropbox develop the next Beta version.
I expect it would be very time consuming for all changes to be listed with each beta version released and, unless it is a significant change, not really necessary.
IMHO of course.

It's common practice to provide a changelog with new versions of a piece of software, which Dropbox used to provide with each release. Think of this as our (mine and Mark's) protest and reminder to them that they stopped doing this, and we'd like to see it back again.

When I start a beta test, I want to know which functions could be affected or which functions have been added. This is essential information for me to make an informed decision about whether I want to take part in the beta test. I am generally willing to help developers improve their software.

Because I want to know what needs testing, or, what I'm looking out for it to break - which it has done on plenty of occasions throughout its beta lifecycle.
You cant improve or test a product if you dont know whats been updated/changed. So for example is something broken or is it intentional?
Its just sheer laziness on behalf of Dropbox to not do it - as they have done previously. And incidentally do so when reminded..... then it stops.
