Hi GavinAlex, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
As it sounds like you joined and merged your account with their Dropbox Business team, only the team admin can help at this time.
You'll need to inform them to convert your account back to a personal account away from the team using these steps.

This happened to me also. Now my Dropbox account shows as being their account and I get a pop-up message that won't go away saying Dropbox can't sync my account. I already have Dropbox account that is more than basic. If I have the Administrator follow the steps outlined, will I be reverted back to a basic account?

If you HAD an account that had a paid subscription and you joined a team account with it, then you would have received a prorated refund for the time remaining on your account. When the admin converts you back to an individual account, you'll be on the Basic plan and will need to upgrade again.
