How to move a user to another Team

Our company has two business accounts, one is annual and one is monthly (for interns).  We have 2 users on the monthly account (team) that are now permanent employees and want to move them to the annual account.  

 

When I delete the user from the monthly team and try to add/invite the user to the normal team, Dropbox says the email address has already been used in an invite and references the monthly account.  I was able to restore the deleted users so they could at least continue using Dropbox.

 

How can I move a user from one team to another?

    In general, there isn't a direct method to transfer users from one Dropbox Business team to another.

    Deleting a user from a team reserves the email address for 7 days, to give the admin time to recover the account. After that time, the email can be used again to create a new empty account.

    However, you could convert the user to a personal account, which is immediate, and then have them accept an invite to the annual team so they can join the other team.
