Account Deleted Without Valid Reason
When I try to login, it goes to a create new account page. The account I’m trying to log in to was a paid account and had many files for many years. I’ve been back and forth with Dropbox support and it sounds like they believe my account was closed due to inactivity- however I have proof I signed in within a year, and I also received no email warnings. So that answer doesn’t add up.
The only other thing I can think of is my account had been linked to a business group a few years ago when I helped with a special project. I was partitioned to only see certain folders of theirs and I had my own personal account still. I could not detach my account after the project so it remained connected but I had my own account. I mentioned this in support but they did not say this was a contributing factor, but something from that business acct is the only thing that makes sense.
Can someone help me get my account reactivated and get my files?

Hi DC1020, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Unfortunately, if the support team were unable to assist further to reactivate the account, then we wouldn't be able to provide a different response.
Regarding your suggestion, if you were a member of a Dropbox Business team, and the team admin deleted your account, then it would also be unrecoverable after 7 days of the deletion. It is possible that the team might still have a copy of your files if you were to contact them directly.
