How Do I Make Sure I Get an Email Every Time a New File is Uploaded to a Folder

I feel like I'm missing something obvious here, so bear with me if I am.

Long story short: I have a voice recording app on my phone that auto-uploads new recordings to a Dropbox folder. That works great. But I want to make sure I get an email every time a new file is uploaded to that folder, so I don't miss anything.

I can't find a way to turn on notifications for new files, but I feel like that must be possible. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance!

  • There is no such feature for this I'm afraid. Weekly digest update emails are the most that can be done.

Wow, genuinely blown away that Dropbox doesn't have that functionality. Thanks for answering, Mark!

My suspicion on this is that the volume of emails it would generate would just be too intense and cause issues with spam filters etc.
