2 Dropbox accounts and no way to merge them.

I am getting messages that one of my acccounts is going to be deleted if I don’t login and when I go to login it says I’m out of space and need to upgrade. However, I have had 2 accounts for many years and upgraded the other but there is NO way to integrate the 2 accounts. There is no live customer support that I know of. Such that I regret having these accounts. It’s like my data is hostage until I buy a storage plan for BOTH accounts which is ridiculous. My husband is a software engineer but each platform has its own engineers and should have its own support staff if they are to provide a service like this. I wonder if anyone here has had a similar problem. I have other small monthly expense drains and hate to add yet another when I should be able to integrate accounts with content moved to the one that has the storage. Baby photos are on here for example.

You're correct that there's no way to merge accounts, but you can use a shared folder between the two accounts to move files from one account to the other.

No, it's not. Even if you don't move files as described above, you can still download your files from the Dropbox website and then delete them from Dropbox. You don't need to upgrade to do that.
