I still do not think I need accessibility in dropbox
Hi. I just installed Mac OS catalina. I know I'm late to the party. Dropbox automatically came with ACCESSSIBILITY checked. Dropbox can control my computer. I do not want dropbox to control my computer. I do not use it for work. I use it for personal use. I don't need the badges. The article does not help me. I am nervous about CONTROL MY COMPUTER. Bad sign. Can I remove it guys?
- JayDropbox StaffHi swivel65, thanks for posting today!.
You can follow the steps in this article if you wish to disable Accessibility for the Dropbox desktop application.
Regarding Dropbox Rewind, it's possible that Accessibility might need to be enabled for that feature to function.
If you need any further assistance, please let me know. - swivel65Explorer | Level 3
Hi.
I could not find how settings need to be configured in system preferences for dropbox rewind (DB +) to work and how it actually does work. Got an email about it but no details. I think ACCESSIBILITY panel and FULL SYSTEM ACCESS PANEL have dropbox possibilities for a checkmark and would like to know what is needed as a minimum and risks, as well to this kind of access. I am not a business. I do not share work via dropbox.
