You can check this out here. See what's unusually engaging space capacity and do sanity it (and remove all unneeded).
Hope this helps.

Thank you! I did what you said and it shows that I am using 2 GB out of 3.5 GB. I therefore can't understand why Dropbox is telling me that I'm over the limit on its site.

Hm..🤔 In such a case you are not over limit.
Are you sure the message tells you that your are over limit or just warn you that you may get over limit? 🧐 Such warns are possible when you are engaging rapidly account capacity.
Other thing, that may push you in confusion, is when you have more than one account. Sometimes people unintentionally create alternative account(s) and again unintentionally put there lots of things. So, when such a message comes up, some people are going to look on exceeding capacity engagement of wrong account (where everything is Ok). Do you do such things by any chance? Check this out - letter by letter your account email everywhere you have used it (on you desktop, laptop, tablet, phone, etc.). Even a single dot on wrong place can be the reason!
Good luck.

Hi! Thanks for your reply. I just went to check my account again, and it states that "You continue to be above your Dropbox storage quota." I only have Dropbox on my computer. At the same time it says that I am using 2 GB out of 3.25 GB.
Do you know whether there is a way to reach out to Dropbox itself to check what's happening? I don't wish to lose my account.
Thanks!
