No more space on my Dropbox, but Dropbox backup is empty

Hello, Dropbox has backed up some folders on my pc, saturating my dropbox space. I deleted these files on Dropbox backup, turned off the backup of folders through the desktop app but Dropbox keeps ...

Hi Walter 

if I browse on Dropbox website I see only files that was there before this malfunction, or the same files updated. There aren't files or folders taking up space in my account's homepage or my backups page
