How can I be using 8.69 GB out of 2 GB? Where can I check my actual storage?
Hi! I am Basic (2 Gb) customer. How can it be: "Using 8.69 GB of 2 GB space"? I looked through my Dropbox current content and nowhere didn't find the option to show the real memory storage occupied ...

Your actual usage can be found on your Plan page.

Have you checked your Backups page?

Thank you, Rich, for your prompt reply.
I do not understand how I can use 8.69 GB of 2 GB space. My Baqckups page is empty. I would like to see space occupation table with exact memory occupied by each item. Is it possible here? Why this first rate information is buried so deep somewhere? How can I plan using DropBox facility with closed eyes?- Megan3 months agoDropbox Staff
Hey Vitaaliy, have you tried clicking the link that Rich provided in order to see a breakdown of your account's quota on your plan page?
What do you see there? Feel free to send over a screenshot if you have any.

Hey, Megan, Here is my Plan page:
Your Personal Dropbox account is full Using 8.7 GB of 5.5 GBRegular files (2.3 GB)Backup (6.4 GB)Replay (0 bytes)Shared files (0 bytes)Sorry for the text format. The option: insert/edit image - does not function at all...
My Backup is empty:

No images - due the same reason. So many features here do not work or work in some strange way. I feel like Alice in the Wonderland and am almost ready to quit.

Hello Rich,
the solution is simple:
When Dropbox was still small and unknown, you received 500Mb of storage space for each new user you brought to Dropbox via an invitation link.
Like Vitaly, I also had around 6GB of storage space, which has suddenly disappeared. Dropbox is now asking me to pay for the storage space that I have earned by inviting new users. Dropbox is also threatening to delete my data irrevocably.
That's a disgrace.
